Question : bad magic number?

I am trying to compile a 9i form under Unix using the f90genm utility. I am getting the following error:

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Bad magic number for shared library: /u01/app/oracle/product/ias9.0.2/lib/libwtc9.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Exec format error
Abort(coredump)

Anybody know what this is and how to get around it?
