Question : Needed Driver

I have a modem / sound card, both on one card.  It also has some kind of joystick gaming device. The computer used to run Windows 95, but I whiped all of that off and started fresh with Windows 98.  Now I have no sound.  The card is:

FCC ID : I38-MMSN842
FCC REG : 4J2SNG-22834-PT-E

It has several large chips that I think are sound related:
One is:
   AZTECH SYSTEMS
   AZT2316R

Another one is:
   ANALOG DEVICES
   AD1845JP
   SOUND PORT
   9607

That is the info on the chips , I think the modem and other devices on the card are ok but the sound card kept comming up a Sound Blaster Pro under device manager with an "!" in yellow next to it indicating it is not working properly.

I tried to fix this by removing all of the devices on this sound/modem card (from device manager) and then downloaded from the net, unzipped and installed what I thought was the right drivers from the file: MMSN842.ZIP.  I installed these drivers using "Add New Hardware" and checking, "Have Disk" and then directing it to the folder I unzipped the '.inf' files onto, and then installed them one by one (4 total).  However this didn't work either.  I think it is because they all are for Windows 95.

I need the drivers for Windows 98.  THANKS

Answer : Needed Driver

Driverguide.com had a few entries when I searched for "mmsn842"--also matching Aztech, and Win 98. You can join driverguide.com for free and search around there, else, I found an external link that someone pasted: http://www.vobis.de/bbs/firmen/aztech/generic/audtel/mmat3100/

I "hope" that will give you some options. Good luck!
