my exchange server is cloned on a test box.
I am trying to change the path of the exsisting information store to the USB drive.
Experts can this be done?
or is there a better way to do this?
It is Exchange 2003
Answer : run exchange information store on usb drive
A USB drive isn't going to be fast enough to allow the database to mount.
Also Exchange will not allow you to set the path as a removable drive. You will need some local storage to copy the files to.
