Question : Routing connector isn't forwarding mail between Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007
Hi,
I am currently migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. All has gone well until I made a test account on 2007. I am able to send email outbound just fine, however email from internal to the account on the '07 server does not arrive and the routing group connector changes from a 'ready' state to 'active', and the mail never arrives. Same goes for sending mail from external to that account.
Any thoughts?
Answer : Routing connector isn't forwarding mail between Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007
Resolved this myself.
Issue was that a smarthost was configured on 2k3's Virtual SMTP Server service instead of using an SMTP connector.
