Question : ATI diver update fiasco
I am using a DEll 8250 with 256 Ram (I know, I know), XP Professional SP2, all up to date. I had a cray impulse to check for a new driver for my 128 DDR ATI Radeon 9700 TX w.TV out..Chip Radeon 9700 AGP (Ox4e45). The driver was ATIdvag.dll version 6.14.0016.6414 (12-12-03). Direct X 9.0c. The driver seemed to be obviously out of date so I went to the manufacturers website and was given the download of ATI Catalyst Control Center including driver. I downloaded and installed it. No I receive ther error "CLI. Implementation, version=2.0.2635.38680, Culture=neutral, publickeytoken=90ba9c70f846762e". I also get a MOM. Implementation error. I installed .net and updated it, but still get errors and a slower machine. Can anyone help me just get a shiny new driver without all the garbagae and errors? Thanks!!

Look in Add/Remove Programs for anything ATI . . Uninstall them, reboot, then reinstall the ATI drivers only . . not any of the HS that they offer with them
