Question : Removing user when he cancel PayPal subscription

I am going to sell monthly recurring recurring advertising via Pay Pal. I would like to know if it is possible via php to automatically remove the user that unsubscribe. I have read that you can be notified via IPN of the purchased. How can this be done so I remove him when he cancel his subscription ?
