Dear expert,
My Windows XP doesn't seem to like the idea of me having to delete the contents of my Start Up folder contained in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\
There appears to be another \Programs\Startup\ sub folder after the initial ..\Startup\..
This is really annoying because the system will always commence the session with a window of the above directory.
Since XP Explorer will not allow me to delete the \Programs\Startup\ sub folder, I opened up a cmd window and manually deleted the folders using rmdir /s. Command prompt confirms that this has been deleted and is also true in XP Explorer.
However, after restarting the system (as opposed to just logging off), the sub folders are there to annoy again.
Do you have any ideas as to why my XP is doing this?
Thanks for your help,
Frohike
