Question : Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop does not work. How do I make My icons on my desktop with Transparen background?

I went to system properties -> advanced -> settings and then I pressed adjust for best performance but it removed the Transparent background on my desktop bacground. I looked online and it says to check on "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop", I do and press apply then ok and it still leaves the colored background. Does anyone know how I may fix this to change the background?

Right click on the desktop, select Arrange Icons By and verify that Lock Web Items on Desktop is not checked.
