Question : Ping returning different IP address than the one entered.

Having some difficulty with connectivity and possibly DNS between two sites. When I ping from SIte B to SIte A, and type in an IP Address of any machine on Site A, the ping comes back with a different IP Address than the one I entered.

For example, I may ping 192.168.110.71 and it comes back with 192.168.110.51 echoing replies.

What is all that about?

Answer : Ping returning different IP address than the one entered.

The route print is only showing the Rhine adapter, so it looks as though only 1 NIC is installed.

I think it's possible it's the persistent route... Can we try deleting the route?

NOTE: Once you delete that persistent route, you *might* need to disable then re-enable the NIC, so that TCP/IP can rebuilt the routes that might get deleted when you remove the route.  Just a word of caution.
