Question : How do I get IIS 6.0 to server .docx and .xlsx formats to browsers? (without converting back to 2003 formats)

Hi Friends,

My enterprise webserver (IIS 6.0 on Windows 2003 Server Standard) will not deliver Office 2007 formated Excel or MS Word files (.docx or .xlsx) to browsers (IE 6, 7, Firefox, etc.).  Hyperlinks do nothing when clicked.  If I open it then save it back again in 2003 format (.doc or .xls) then change the hyperlink to point to the new file name, it provides the expected dialogue box (open or save).

How do I fix this so that Office 2007 files are delivered the same?
