Question : viewing temporary internet files
I am trying to see my temporary internet files (TIF) and I can not see them. I'm almost positive I was able to do this recently. I am using IE7 with windows XP sp2. I was told by someone that it is a function of XP that you are not allowed to see your own TIF.
When I click on: Tools / Internet Options / Settings / View Files, the folder is always empty.
And yes, I do have 'show hidden files' checked in my file menu options.
I was also told that if I log in as a different account (local admin) I could see the TIF files for the various users of this PC. I tried that and I could not see them that way either.
There is a link at Microsoft's web site that says that the files might be stored "locally". Although, they don't explain what locally means, I can not fild the files anywhere on my hard drive.
Any ideas?
Thanks
