Question : What is the fastest software to burn multiple VCD to DVD ?
Dear Experts I have a lot of VCDs and like to burn these VCDs to DVD. I prefer a software that can squeeze many VCD to a DVD (like some DVDs we bought, inside contains 12 VCD movies). I have try Nero 8, it only can squeeze 5 movies into a DVD and it takes 2 and a half hour to complete the task. It is too long for me. Currently I use NeoDVD, it takes 1 and a half hour to burn 6 VCD to a DVD at most. Is there any software that can burn faster and more VCD to a DVD ? Thank you.

For the VCD conversion you could try SUPER, which will 'rip' the DAT files from the MPEGAV folder. You just select that you want to convert the file to a DVD compliant VOB file. Super can convert say a 36Mb file in a few minutes. The bottom line is that any software has to convert the MPEG-1 file to MPEG-2 (represented as VOB files). Whilst software will play a part in the speed, so will the speed of your computer. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/super.cfm
