Question : xp install does not see a hard drive when bios set to RAID (not IDE)

I am building a new Shuttle XPC and finally figured out how to set my 2 matching drives to RAID 1, but when I try to install XP, it does not see a hard drive available and fails.

If I set BIOS back to IDE, then XP install sees 2 hard drives....

Use nLite to slipstream windows XP and add raid controller drivers:
