Question : Auto Recovery pops up every other time a user starts MS Excel
|
|
We have an issue when opening excel that the document recovery window pops up on the left hand side saying "excel has recovered the following files. save the ones you wish to keep." it then shows the auto recovery version of the excel file below.
Our problem is that the excel file is no longer on the network share where is was originally located so when you try and delete the auto recovery it say's "cannot delete file: cannot read from the source file or disk"
Is there any way the auto recovery can be reset?, I've already tried changing the auto recovery options in excel options and placing a new .xlsb file in the same location on the network share.
Any ideas? Thanks
