Answer : desk top
Wow, please try to explain your problem first. Your desktop is now overloaded with files.. correct? Determine what files first, where are they from.. Someone copied contents of some directory to a desktop?!
Open (in explorer) c:\windows\desktop OR if you use multiple user profiles c:\windows\profiles\your_u
ser_name\d
esktop
Select explorer to show you files in a list and than copy them all to some other location:
(c:\backp)
Now open the directory where you have mooved all your icons from desktop and select only those you want to show on your desktop (important shortcuts you had on your desktop before this problem) and than copy them back to your desktop.
Try to determine where are these files from. Probably someone accidentaly dragged some files to desktop..
