Question : Micorsoft Office Outlook has stopped working

I have Vista and Office 2007 installed and it has worked without a problem until this morning. I was attempting to view contacts by category when I clicked view by category in the contacts folder Outllook abruptly tried to restart and then closed. Now I can't open the contacts folder.

I have rebooted the system, I have run scanpst.exe and it did find and repair errors. But it still closes whenever I attempt to access the contacts folder.

Open Control Panel > Mail and click on Show Profiles.  Select the one you are using and click Remove to delete it (after you make your export of course).  Click Add and make a new profile, follow the wizard and fill in what is needed.  Let all your e-mails, appointments, etc. download into the new profile.  Or you can import that .pst file I said to create earlier, it is up to you.
