Question : Zip problem

Hello

i have a linux pc on custom site that create logfiles.
At night i send the logfiles via ftp to my windows pc to analyse the logfiles.  Before i send the logfiles i compress them wit gzip.  When i try to unzip the files with winzip on my windows pc i got the error "invalid compressed data -- unable to inflate".

Is there a way to solve this problem ????

Answer : Zip problem

Yes, use zip instead of gzip.

Although i can unzip .gz files with my version of winzip, using zip is more compatible anywayz ;)
