Question : Exchange Mail store fails to stay mounted.

I've read about every different version of offline defrag and recovery, and still come to a dead end.
offline defrag error's. I've attempted to move the file onto a different file system, but receive CRC errors mid way through the transfer.

I'm at the "pulling my hair out" stage, and so is the client.
no amount of trying these utilities has appeared to assist in getting the mail stores to mount and stay mounted.

solved by microsoft support.
the problem related to a ergistry entry left by the anti virus. In HKey _local_machine/system/current control set/services/MSexchangeIS/Antivirus
exported and then removed.
the mail store then mounted and was accessable.
