Question : Outlook Web Access - Warning Message - Phishing Filter
|
|
We have a piece of help desk software (webhelpdesk.com) that staff can e-mail in their requests to for our I.T. Support department. We, as techies, also use the software to add notes and then e-mail back the users telling them the job is complete.
All but around 10 users use Outlook Web Access (OWA) in our school to access their e-mail which is on an Exchange 2007 box.
When an e-mail is sent from the help desk to an user using OWA to view e-mail, the error message This might be a phishing message and is potentially unsafe& Click here to enable functionality is displayed and the e-mailed is not displayed correctly. This must be an OWA error as a user using Outlook (installed on PC) does not get this message and the message is displayed properly.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can prevent OWA from displaying this message in e-mails sent from the help desk?
Regards

Answer : Outlook Web Access - Warning Message - Phishing Filter

Do not worry, I've solved it!
There is an area in the help desk software for server name. Ours was set to the server IP address and therefore I believe OWA was assuming the message was part of a phishing scam.
I set the 'server name' field to the server's name and it is all working now. Thank you for your help everyone.
