Question : "A required resource was unavailable"

I friend of mine has written a program which under WinNT4
displays the message "A required resource was unavailable". It appears to be doing some graphics. What would cause this message to come up? Is there any administrative tools at my disposal that I can use to understand why this message is
being displayed? This message does not popup under W95. My friend does not have NT4 to track the error down...

Answer : "A required resource was unavailable"

Most likely the program tries to access video directly (or another resource) this wont work under NT, what software is it?
