Question : 2 Exchange accounts on 1 Windows Mobile 5 phone (Motorola Q - Verizon)
|
|
I got a Motorola Q and used the built in ActiveSync to connect to my Exchange 2003 mailbox without issue. Now I would like to add a second shared mailbox called "helpdesk", which sits on the same server, to the phone so I can see the those emails as they come in.
I cant seem to find any info on how to do this or if its even possible. We only allow OWA and OMA for mobile users so setting it up as a POP3 account is not an option.
I know I can modify the delivery options in AD for this account to forward my primary account copies of all emails but since this is used as a quasi-issue tracking box I dont want to wade through emails that have already been addressed by someone else and removed from the inbox. For instance, I want to see what is actually in the inbox at 1:30pm when i sync and not every email thats been sent up untill 1:30pm.
If not possible with the native tools maybe there is a 3rd party solution out there?

OMA is basically a plain text version of OWA. Try it from your web browser and see if you get the same error. If you do, look in the event viewer to see if something is being logged. Also ensure that the /oma virtual directory in IIS manager is set to use asp 1.1 not 2.0.
