Question : Has any tried to create a Lenovo T61 image and get that image to work with the X61 model

Ladies and Gentlemen:
I have created a windows xp sp2 image using ghost for the Lenovo T61 Widescreen laptop, I have been trying to get that same T61 image to work with the Lenovo X61 Laptop. When i reimage the X61 laptop and restart it nothing happens. the screen just stays black after the bios loads. Usually at this point I would get the windows XP splash screen. But instead I just get a black screen with the underscore line flashing at the top left corner. Has anyone tried this or could anyone know what else i would have to do to get this one image to work on both model laptops. thanks. This question is worth 500 points.

Oups, was addressing my responses to the wrong guy, sorry mildogz.
You're correct about the Mass Storage device driver being wrong. To fix: - In the bios, change the SATA Controller mode from 'AHCI' to 'Compatability'. You'll then be able to boot into XP. - Download the necessary (Intel Matrix Storage) drivers from Lenovo's support site, run the setup (you can't manually update the drives from Device Managers as you're running in Compatability mode) - Reboot, change bios SATA Controller mode back to AHCI and you should be good.
Since some changes have been made to the partition table, I also recommend you try booting into the R&R using the Thinkvantage button and if that doesn't work, re-install R&R in windows and that should fix that.
