Question : Connect to a friends pc.

I want to do remote desktop connection.

my computer => windows 2003 server   Router IP:192.168.1.101          I am on a router then connected to cable modem.

my friend's computer => windows xp family    Modem IP Usually static. 66.XX.XX.XX   friend is connected directly to cable modem.

Where do I start. I need very good details in doing this. Pretend I am a monkey.

Have you followed any of my other instructions yet? You need to turn on remote desktop and open the appropriate ports as well on your computer and router at home.
