Question : migrating outlook email account settings and rules from outlook 2003 to outlook 2007
The old computer has a corrupted copy of windows, but the C: drive with the data files including the docs and settings for the user is accessible. No problem moving the .pst data file (and the signatures), but the email account settings and the rules are very elaborate, and i can't figure out where they are.
IF they're in the registry on the old drive (now attached as drive H on the new computer), how can i access that registry if REGEDIT would be editing the registry files on the new computer?
Both are windows XP.
Answer : migrating outlook email account settings and rules from outlook 2003 to outlook 2007
Glad to help, henrydechert ! In Outlook Express and Outlook 2000, Microsoft allow transfer of account settings in a file. Microsoft remove that option in later versions of Outlook.
