Question : Relative Cell References in Excel Chart

I am trying to create a chart in excel that uses relative cell references.  My goal is to have the chart series refer to data beside the chart, and allow me to copy the rows which include the data and the chart to another section of the spreasheet, and have the chart point to the new rows.

For example:
A     B
1     Chart showing 1,2,3,4
2
3
4

5     Chart showing 5,6,7,8
6
7
8

It seems that whenever I copy rows that contain a chart, the chart references remain pointed at the original data.  If I try to change the references to relative instead of ablolute, the references revert back to absolute automatically.

There is no link between a chart and its location in a worksheet, so relative referencing won't work. If you have to copy a lot of charts, I would use code to do it, or simply save your chart as a template chart and then create new charts using that template for each of your data sets.
