Question : Samba file size limits?

Hi,
here's a quick question, but first som background info:
I've set up a linux fileserver running RedHat 9 (the disk used for filestorage is formatted with ext3) and I access it through Samba from my Win2K and WinXP Home clients.

I want to use the diskspace on the server for storing video material that I'm editing and filesizes will be an the neighbourhood of 10-20GB+.

Does anybody know if there are any file size limits that I might run into when I want to transfer LARGE files to the server?

Thanks in advance,
regards,
Erik

Answer : Samba file size limits?

nope samba should not care anything about how big the file is. it just takes the file and copy's it to your harddrive.. so its limited to the limitation of your filesystem. which is in this case 2TB
