Question : Conect to citrix Metarframe Server thru mobile 3G and GPRS card

Hello we have a business application on a citrix server, we have sales men that connect to the metaframe citrix server with PCMCIA mobile 3G and GPRS card.

Since the 3G net still not have full range cover, the cards are configured to automatically switch to GPRS if the don't have 3G in range. This work fine for surf, mail and download with god response.
But when you try to use the citrix client and connect to metaframe server it gets terrible slow when using GPRS just a third of using modem 56K, if we use remote desktop we get acceptable speed.
Would appreciate if you have any suggestions.

I noticed a similar issue on our Citrix metaframe 4.x server.
The problem was rectified opening port 2598 on the firewall.
The improvement in the web interface and external users was massive.....
The outside now feels like being inside the lan.
