Question : Free/Busy Information Not Available

Hello All,

We have Exchange 2003 SP2 and Outlook 2003.  We just changed domains AND Exchange Organizations.  We got the mailbox data from domain A to domain B by doing exmerge export and import.

The issue we are having is when people go to schedule meetings, some of our users show that their free/busy information is available, and some show that it is unavailable.  When I tried an appointment to about 12 users it was about 1/2 & 1/2.

So it doesn't point to a global thing.  Also, we only have one Exchange Server so there shouldn't be any replication issues.

Please let me know any ideas of things to check.  I did get the MS article on the legacyexchangedn not being lower case and that one doesn't apply.

Thanks much,

Tom

Answer : Free/Busy Information Not Available

Hi TomJatABRG,

As a starting point I recommend launching Outlook from the commandline with the /cleanfreebusy parameter for those users whose information isn't showing up.  This will flush any free busy information for those accounts and give Outlook a chance to generate new information.

Cheers!
