Question : Edit existing MIDI files and convert WAV to .MID

Have existing Midi files I created through the years (.mid) ....  I do use Adobe Audition, among other software products to work music files BUT am looking for software that is a focus on existing Midi files to provide quick/easy way to
1) load Midi files already created to edit - cut/save
2) combine Midi files
3) load my existing music creations that are *.wav PCM files and convert them incrementally to .Mid extensions.

Looking for software that is NOT Audition to do these types of edits.  OS on systems involved will all be either Windows XP SP2 based or Vista.

This should do the trick.  Not sure about it's basic midi editing features though.
