Question : Cannot Get Active Sync to work on Treo 800w with Exchange 2007

I cannot get email on new Treo 800W windows Mobile 6.1
There nothing special I need to do on Server side is there? I have Activesync enabled on  the user I want to use

for the URL I put in  webmail.wachesaweast.com

I can get my mail via PIE on the phone, Just cant get Active Sync to work

I'm thinking it's not an exchange 2007 specific problem. I cannot get it to work on Exchange 2003. Mine will say its connected, and as long as its the first time I've sync'ed then messages, contacts, tasks, etc... will pull down but after that any changes wont stick. That said I'm stuck as well. I've even blown away my mail box on exchange and recreated it in hopes I'd get the contacts. Mail seems to work for the moment but no contacts.
