Question : Exchange 2003 not using new DC- Messages pending submission backing up
Greetings,
I have a 2003R2 DC I added to the domain to take over the role of my old DC. I transferred all FSMO roles to new DC about a year ago. Last night the old DC died and now exchange messages are backing up in Messages Pending Submission queue, and not being routed to our users. (Exchange 2003 standard-stand alone server)
Also,(if this is related or not I don't know) but when people try to log on to the network their login is taking a very long time to process and get them to their desktop.)
GC, DC, and Config on exchange server> directory access properties all point to new DC server.
Recipient Update Services point to new DC as well. New DC is also functioning as DNS/DHCP
what am I missing?
