Question : What should I learn for MS SQL  & Server 2003

Hi,

I'm looking to do some training -  my company is offering to pay and I want to make the most of it....quickly,before they change their mind!. I wanted to ask you DB gurus, apologies it's not a "My Join doesn't quite work" problem, but I'd appreciate some informed advice.

What should I pick from all these course choices ?

I was aiming down the MCSE MS route as I have to look after a couple of small networks with server 2003 & exchange etc but I also do a lot of work with our SQL server (2000 & 2005) and a crappy app that was built for us, hence I have done lots of work writing an outside ASP/Javascript app that tweaks the data in said crappy system. Now I'm thinking would I would be better doing MCDBA .... whatever that means -
below is one of Google's result for training .. not including the 1.2 million other pages.. help

Answer : What should I learn for MS SQL  & Server 2003

MCSE is heavier on the actual server side of things, so .. active directory, GPO, DNS, forests and domains, etc.  Are you the 'head' sysadmin or is there someone above you .. i.e. do you really need to know the details of AD and how the GPO flows down, how DNS does and doesn't forward, etc?  It seems like a combination of MCSA and MCITP might work best for you.  Which of the two job functions do you do more of?
