We have an announcement in PDF form that we wish to email to customers but we want the announcement to appear in the email cover, not as an attachment. Can this be done?

The link I posted provided two options.  If your file is in local media, attach a copy to an email and send it to the Adobe address in the link.  You will get back an HTML file.

You can use Gmail as a converter by this method.
