A list of %  % commands used in a Batch fiile to detrimine file locations in Windows.  I think this is best asked in the DOS saction.

such as:
%systemroot%
%currentuser% (think that right)

There are several variables available in Windows, but each version of Windows has its own list of built-in system variables.

If you are running XP, you should check out "Windows Help" and search for "Command shell overview".

This help item describes all of the built-in variables for Windows XP.

Other versions of Windows also have a list of built-in variables in their help pages.
