Question : DEP Error for Windows Explorer
For some reason, lately, When I'm adjusting my computer's volume, I get a Data Execution Prevention error saying that it has closed Windows Explorer to protect me. When I close the message, I get an error saying that Explorer crashed and when I click "Close" nothing else happens (Explorer doesn't close). So it's not a very big deal but I'm wondering why it does that.

I suspect the audio driver is trying to access a kernel mode process. Can you turn-off DEP in the BIOS?
