Question : Virus Symptom ? Explorer shows folders duplicated (not me)

I keep finding copies of MyDocuments and other folders in places where I didn't put them.

Does this sound like the symptom of a virus ?

Also, can you please recommend a good virus cleaner that I don't have to install and have on all the time ?  I hate what they do to my system performance (I have a mere 50k phone connection).
I don't mind if it isn't free.

I can guess that this is the profile for the person who did the backup in the first place. Maybe. Not sure. It doesn't look like a virus.
