Question : Outlook is requesting data from the server
My email system is Exchange 2007 and I am running a Vista client with Outlook 2003. It has worked very well until the last 2 weeks. This particular Vista client tries to open Outlook and keeps getting the message "Outlook is requesting data from the server". It does not specificy a server name (although we only have one message store). The problem seems to be limited to this particular client as I can set up the user on another machine and it works fine. I have tried setting up a different user on this Vista machine and it doesn't work at all. I tried uninstalling / reinstalling Office with no luck. I reinstalled Vista with no luck. Also, I read somewhere about the MTU setting causing this error but nothing I did made any difference. I am still having the problem just on this one machine.
Any ideas?
