Question : Slow login to Terminal Server
|
|
Hi
Installed a Terminal server on a Win2k3 R2 server and any user that logs into it will type in their credentials, then get a grey screen, where it appears to hang for a while then logs the user in. I have checked the following
DNS: The server is pointing to the SBS server for DNS and running nslookup brings up the correct results. NIC: There is only one NIC in the server so no issues with correct binding and it only has one DNS server listed. AV: using symantec AV, but I have disabled the services and still no joy GPO: Usually SBS group policies are being applied and one other that has a login script attached to it. I have removed this and run gpupdate and it has no affect NETDIAG: shows no errors
Im running out of ideas now, so would be very grateful for some fresh input
Thanks
