Question : Difference between Access 97 retail and runtime version

Lo,

I need to collect information through SMS.
The objective is to define exactly the number of Access 97 (and only 97) we have : retail or runtime only.
I only need to know which file(s) is installed with retail and not with runtime.
If it's a registry key, solution is welcome too. I can create a specific script to deploy with SMS for a MIF solution. But file(s) difference would be great.

300 points because I need an urgent solution and something that answer exactly - file or reg key.

Hmmm ... not sure, but I'd bet they're not. The accwiz.dll would be the place to work, but I can't verify that ... and while I've found references to specific reg keys that are built for runtime installs, I can't find the exact keys needed to accurately determine if the 97 runtime has been installed. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you ... good luck.
