Question : Exchange 2003 - Messages stuck on "Messages Pending Submission"

Hi all,

we never have this problem before; but somehow; about 3 weeks ago; we had this problem emails are stuck on "Messages Pending submission". I restarted the server; and all good. but it happened again last night.

I got nothing on the events.
the only changes on the server: memory upgrade from 2GB to 3GB

Trend Micro OfficeClient and SMEX installed on the server.

Any idea?

Answer : Exchange 2003 - Messages stuck on "Messages Pending Submission"

When the mentioned problem is faced, check whether there is any comminication issues between Exchange Server and DC.

It could be because of,
1> Firewalls in between incase Exchange and DC are in seperate subnet
2> Check whether tcpip,sys file of Exchange and DC is of minimum version as per KB913446.
3> Check whether DCs have any issues.
