Question : GFI Faxmaker becomes failure after a period of time.

The configuration are:
1. Window 2000 Advanced Server with SP3.
2. Exchange Server 2000
3. GFI Faxmaker For Exchange 9
4. Modems (I have replaced several modems. US Robotics fax/voice modem X 5. Rockwell fax/voice modem X 2)

Every time it would work fine at the beginning. It may work for few hours to few days. After a period of time, it would fail to receive fax and return "Error 30 The timeout occured" for every trials.

Some articles suggest to use ATZ to reset the modem instead of the standard initialized string. I've tried but it does not work.

Any idea to fix it?

Have you installed any hardware or software that may have caused this?  Have you applied any Windows patches that may have caused it?  Can you do a System Restore (if Win2k has this option) to reset the system files to a time before this started happening?
