Question : Can't access partition from external enclosure.  Need help ASAP!

Hey guys

     One of my computers just died and I took my harddrive out, put it into an external enclosure, and attached it to my other computer.  The 2 partitions of my original drive show up as hard drives in the "My computer" menu; but the partition i need to access doesnt work; it spins for a while and then asks if i want to format.  Ironically the other partition i can access.  I need help ASAP!  Thank you.

Weill I would not use that drive as a main storage device for sure.
You could use it as a spare second drive for temporary storage or install apps that you can be replaced, but I would not recommend using it as a main HDD in any computer.
