Question : Open Port Range using Routing and Remote Access on Server 2003

Hi There
Is it possible to open a port range i.e. 1024-2048 in RRAS on Server 2003

If you tell me no and to use TCP/IP filtering on which NIC do I do this on to replace current open ports in RRAS

Thanks

Adam

Answer : Open Port Range using Routing and Remote Access on Server 2003

Yes I would say you will need to directly forward the traffic, a series of ports) to the SBS using the router/firewall. To turn off the SBS firewall run the CEICW (Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard) located under server management | Internet and e-mail | Connect to the Internet. Disabling the firewall will be an option.

Have to warn though, this sounds very risky from a security point of view.
