Question : Cannot run exe app on users desktop

I am trying to run a exe file (dbclean.exe) on a users desktop pc but receive the following message: "windows encountered a problem and needed to close".
I need to run an app supplied by O2 to fix an issue with the users blackberry software. Therefore i have to be logged on as the user not administrator as the prob is with the users MAPI profile.
The desktop is running windows xp operating sys, sp2, ms office 2003.
O2 have suggested it maybe a fault with the windows installer.
I have tried running it in safe mode and also changing the users permisions to adminstrator temporarily.

Download it again from here just to be sure it is OK - http://blackberryforums.com/general-blackberry-discussion/6475-need-dbclean-exe-asap.html and check the comment re it crashing in the same entry. Are you deleting BES account first? It will ask for Outlook profile if there is more than one, or run it with dbclean.exe
