Question : Insert takes long time

Experts,

I having problem on insert statment on one perticular table. I tried
to insert 1518 records and it took 23 minutes and it used to take less then
5 minutes. I am having this problem since 1 week.

Where should I do to resolve this.

1) have u done any alteration in the table...?
2) have u recently created any inded to that table...?
3) have u updated the table recently...?

try to drop table and recreate the table and insert all the records into it.....
