Question : stop error screen

okay yesterday i was working on my computer so fine. no problem. nothing at all. and i didn't do anything to it.
the next day, i get this:

A problem has been detected & windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disabel the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and then select safe mode.

Answer : stop error screen

Have you recently installed new drivers or a new program? These are likely the cause. Using newer drivers on older components can cause these errors, the nVidia drivers, version 38.xx, are an example of drivers that are incompatable with Win XP and older cards.

In the device manager, find the component you updated, and in the driver tab, roll back the driver.
