win xp pak2  when I click on my desktop on my computer icon
it gives me a message cannot be written to that memory address  0x75f819ad   refrened memory 0x75f819ad  coud not be writtin coud not be writtin I am forced to click on Eexplorer type in c:\  then go up a level and look at my drives c: d: e: etc.  and go into my files that way I tried making a shortcut to desktop it does not work . the original shortcut  works in my (MY COMPUTER) file as as I move it out to the desktop it does not work
I tried  Windows repair no good
I do not want to make  a reinstall
