Question : minimums Files to boot a custom small Win Xp system

Hello experts,
I have problem, I need to build a custom small Win Xp system to excute an application that performs mantein jobs to "really" XP system in other partition, then I need to know the minimums Files to boot and the files that I need to modify to execute at the start process my 32bit app (this app are as a desktop system, and when this ends the tasks then active the "really" system partition and restart the pc)

I think you might be able to use BartPE as the foundation for that.

What is BartPE and PE Builder?
Bart's PE Builder helps you build a "BartPE" (Bart Preinstalled Environment) bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD from the original Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 installation/setup CD, very suitable for PC maintenance tasks.
It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus scan and so on. This will replace any Dos bootdisk in no time!
The normal way you use BartPE is to build a bootable CD/DVD. But, as stated in this Frequently Asked Question, you could also put it on your hard drive:
