Question : Needing Steps for Changing Background Color of Pic Using Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0
|
|
Hi Everyone:
I have a picture which has brown and white stripe background. At this point, I wish to a brown background only.
I selected the icon with the tool pallatte, but, I could not find solid colors. Each selection seemed to be a combination of two or more colors as opposed to just one color.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you
George

Select the Eye Dropper Tool from the main tool-bar.
On the image: Click on a pixel that represents the brown that you wish to use. If the brown alters slightly in colour across an area you can drag the Eye Dropper tool across that area and it will average out the colour. You will find that the Foreground Colour panel at the bottom of the main toolbar will change to the sampled colour. Press the double-headed arrow to swap the Foreground Colour and the Background colours around, this will then put the sampled colour into the Background panel.
