Question : Reducing GIF Color Palette
|
|
Hi,
How do I reduce color palettes in GIF files? For example, I have a GIF graphic that only has two colors and my program still saves it as a 256 color image!
I have Photoshop 5.5 and ImageReady 2.0. I would prefer to do this operation with Photoshop (if possible), since I don't really use ImageReady at all.

go to menu IMAGE>MODE>COLOR TABLE then will open a table with all the colors that your image really use. with control holded click in the colors when saved even with photoshop saving was 256 color , the file size will be the same as the 4 color file : )
I just teste the making and the fireworks showed a 4 color only gif : ))
